Lei, Jun, and Heihachi
Back in the last couple months of 1995, I used to look at this picture of Lei Wulong, Jun Kazama,
and Heihachi Mishima, and get visions. I saw Lei and Jun struggling across the
desolate plains of a conquered Earth, running and hiding from Centaurian patrols... while Heihachi
Mishima observed them from his secluded retreat, far, far away. These visions were the first
inspiration for Ashes of the Phoenix, which I completed in May of 1997.
