Kemco's Journey to Kreisia character cards
Memories of an Overlord is set in an alternate Kemcoverse, and many details pictured or stated on Kemco's official character cards are different in the novel.
For example, Cynthia, Laminah, Anemos, and Cedric are all older than the cards imply when Yusis first meets them in Memories of an Overlord. Cynthia has just turned sixteen; Laminah is in her mid-twenties; and Anemos is secretive about his age (he isn't ageless or immortal, though). King Cedric Welkin hasn't assumed the throne recently like the card says; he's in his thirties and has represented the people of Kreisia for ten years.
In Memories of an Overlord, many events of Kreisia's history and Yusis' journey are different from the video game. I deliberately wrote Memories of an Overlord with the twin goals that readers who have never played Journey to Kreisia won't be confused, and readers who have played Journey to Kreisia will still be surprised.
